Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Samuel Summers!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Fook Man!
The judges for this bout are Chad Campbell, Dean Styles and Bruno Lombardi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Man wants to clinch
and Summers counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Summers walks into a jab.
Summers misses with a hook.
Summers moves away from the strike by Man.
Summers slips a straight right by Man.
Summers was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Summers tries a head kick but it misses.
Man throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Summers sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Summers throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Man ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Summers scores with a jab. Man acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Man throws a leg kick that is checked
and Summers counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Man fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Man connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Summers's hands.
Summers swings for the body but Man moves out of range.

Summers throws a looping overhand right but Man ducks down to avoid it.
Man misses with a low kick.
Summers is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Man.
Fook Man seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Man gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Man unloads a knee to the mid-section. Summers lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Man misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Summers misses with a punch on the inside.
Summers avoiding damage as Man throws knees to the body.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Summers.
Summers definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Man tries to throw a body punch but Summers avoids it by throwing Man back against the cage.
A head punch on the inside from Man fails to land.
Summers blocks an elbow strike from Man.
A short body shot lands from Summers as the two fighters clinch.
Summers looking to stall.
Summers tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

Summers tries a body shot but Man blocks it.
Summers has a couple of punches blocked by Man.
Summers lands with a left to the head.
Man tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Summers's elbow.
Man misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Summers.
Summers lands a hook that snaps the head of Man backwards.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Man misses with some punches.
Man misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Man manages to pull guard.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Man escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Summers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Man looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Man is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Summers engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

Man looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Man working for submissions but it's allowed Summers to get to half guard.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
