Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lucca Burt (ranked 3124 p4p, 1441 weight class) and Ali Dixon (ranked 416 p4p, 212 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Lucca Burt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ali Dixon!
The judges for this bout are Yves DeLean, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burt throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nice shot lands for Dixon.
It looks like Lucca Burt has been cut.
Dixon misses with a body shot.
Dixon scores with a sloppy right hand. Burt should have avoided that one.
Dixon with a hook.
Burt throws a body shot but no joy.
A countering left hand to the body from Dixon misses.
Burt misses with a two punch combination.
Dixon has managed to clinch.
Dixon lands with a left to the head.
Dixon lands a shot to the body.
Burt tries to land a knee to the head but Dixon blocks with his arms.
Burt is trying to break the clinch but Dixon has him pressed against the cage.
Burt trying to stall but Dixon improves his position.
A left hand lands to the body for Dixon.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Dixon pushes Burt back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Dixon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Lucca Burt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Burt takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Dixon defending well as Burt loads up on a big left hand.
Burt scores with a punch to the head.
Burt misses with a jab to the body
and Dixon counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Dixon closes the distance and clinches.
Dixon digs a right hand underneath Burt's ribcage. Burt let out a lung full of air as it connected.
Dixon lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Dixon lands a body punch.
Burt wants to break the clinch but can't.
Dixon manages to break the clinch.
Dixon darts in and clinches Burt up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Dixon is working Burt over against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Dixon lands a body shot.
Dixon escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Burt throws a body punch but Dixon moves out of range.
Burt misses with a wild body shot.
Dixon looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Burt throws a left and a right that both miss
and Dixon cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dixon forces Burt back against the cage and clinches.
Dixon is defending well against a takedown attempt.
Burt taking a breather.
Dixon breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Dixon tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Burt was well out of range. Poor timing from Dixon.
Dixon lands with a right hand.
Burt is rocked!
Burt gets caught by a brutal right hook which buckles his knees! Burt tries to backpedal with his spaghettilegs but Dixon is headhunting and goes for the kill. A jab and a right hook connect and Burt buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Burt!! Burt is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Dixon throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:56 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ali Dixon!
An out of breath Ali Dixon thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
