Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Panda Four (ranked 1300 p4p, 1779 weight class) and Lucas McCain (ranked 181 p4p, 240 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Panda Four!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 1, fighting out of New York, Lucas McCain !
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Donald Grub and James Glass.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

McCain gets tackled into the cage by Four. Four maintains the clinch.
McCain lands a nice shot to the body.
I was talking to Four's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, McCain creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Four takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Four tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

McCain struggles to land a body shot inside as Four controls his hands.

McCain throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

McCain breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Four closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Four jumps guard but McCain turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Panda Four. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Four jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as McCain walks away with a smile on his face. Four gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

McCain manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Four keeps the fight in the clinch, despite McCain 's efforts to push away.

Four is trying to maintain a safe position but McCain gets an underhook and turns Four into the cage.
Four tries to pull guard but McCain forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

Four gets control of McCain 's arms and successfully pulls guard. Four will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Four might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Four escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. McCain gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Four had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. McCain defends it easily.
McCain really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Four. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

McCain decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Four avoids the body shot from McCain .
McCain swats away the attempt to clinch by Four.

Four gets a clinch.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Lucas McCain dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Panda Four's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Four half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
Panda Four seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McCain connects with a body shot that sends Four's belly button to the back.
McCain wants to land a leg kick but Four is out of range.
McCain throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Four tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

McCain swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Four shoots in looking for a takedown. McCain tries to sprawl out of it but Four keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. McCain manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Four drops back, looking for a kneebar! McCain looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. McCain looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from McCain !

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

McCain decides to stand and escape the position.

Four dives in and grabs McCain 's left leg, looking for a takedown. McCain pushes down on Four's head and hops out.
McCain lands with an overhand left.
Four takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
McCain lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Four head around and knocks him out cold! McCain hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:25 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Lucas McCain !
