Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Yudai Kitamura (ranked 5824 p4p, 4451 weight class) and Brian Ortega (ranked 0 p4p, 393 weight class). The key to victory for Yudai Kitamura has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brian Ortega!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yuuki Gou and Yasuomi Hirokawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ortega shoots in and bounces Kitamura off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Kitamura wants to stand up but Ortega is controlling him.
Kitamura knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ortega on the ground.

Kitamura lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Ortega drops back looking for a leg! Kitamura is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Kitamura manages to kick Ortega off! Ortega jumps back into Kitamura's guard.
