Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mucak Shanikov (ranked 3906 p4p, 5674 weight class) and Jolly Roger (ranked 468 p4p, 554 weight class). Roger comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Under Jolly Roger kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mucak Shanikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 19 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jolly Roger!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shanikov scoring well with a low kick there.
Roger throws out a loose jab but Shanikov uses good head movement to avoid it.
Roger keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Roger tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Shanikov throws a hook to the side of Roger's head but Roger sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Roger fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Shanikov takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Shanikov looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Roger lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Shanikov at a distance.
Shanikov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Roger was well out of range. Poor timing from Shanikov.
Roger throws out a powerful jab.
Shanikov ducks right into an uppercut from Roger.
Shanikov keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Jolly Roger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Roger throws a body punch but Shanikov moves out of range.

Roger fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
An inside leg kick lands from Shanikov.
Shanikov goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Roger throws the left hand but Shanikov avoids the punch easily.

Roger cracks Shanikov with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Shanikov falls to his knees and Roger doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:08 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jolly Roger!
After winning the bout, Jolly Roger thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
