Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Rusev (ranked 538 p4p, 1051 weight class) and Hyseon Whang (ranked 74 p4p, 142 weight class). Alexander Rusev has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Alexander Rusev! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hyseon Whang! The judges for this bout are William Peck, Ian Loll and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A big left from Whang misses. Whang lands a really nice looking cross but Rusev seems unphased.
A slow jab from Whang misses its intended target. Whang tries to sprawl but Rusev drives through with a takedown into half guard. Whang should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Rusev trying to control the action but Whang is working from the bottom. Rusev wants to pass the guard but Whang is defending well. Rusev wants to work for an arm triangle but Whang is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Rusev tries to pass to full mount but Whang defends it. Whang is trying to control but can't.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rusev wants to lay and pray for a moment but Whang keeps working. Whang has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Brooklyn Mixed Martial Arts. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Whang trying to control from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rusev is trying for a kimura here. Whang looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Rusev wins by kimura!
