Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Oaza Madero!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Martin Drop!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Drop throws a head kick that Madero semi-blocks.
It looks like Oaza Madero has been cut.
Madero lands with a nice combination. Drop backs away looking to recover.
Drop with a nice cross.
Drop looks to score with a jab to the body but Madero is just out of range.
Drop throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Madero.
Drop steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Madero.
Drop throws a head kick that misses.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Drop takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Drop lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Oaza Madero's cut is getting worse.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A telegraphed right hand from Drop misses the target.
Madero throws a body punch but Drop moves out of range.
A punch lands to the side of Drop 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Drop throws an overhand right that lands on Madero's shoulder, as Madero tries to avoid the shot.
Drop loads up on a big right hand but Madero slips the punch.
Drop plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Madero staying out of range there.
Drop walks into a stiff left hand from Madero.
Madero has a takedown stuffed.
Drop swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Madero slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Madero misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Drop.
Drop throws a combination. Madero tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Oaza Madero's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
Drop and Madero are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Drop throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Madero into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Drop knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Martin Drop!
