Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Antonio Neto! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David Da Silva! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Da Silva shoots in but no luck this time. Da Silva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Da Silva closes this distance looking for a takedown but Neto circles away. The fight stays on the outside here - Neto looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Da Silva throws a nice looking combination but Neto bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Neto tries to close the distance and clinch but Da Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Neto tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Da Silva paws at him with a jab and circles away. Da Silva closes the distance and clinches. Da Silva is trying to break free. Stalling in the clinch from Neto.
Da Silva has Neto pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Neto manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Antonio Neto has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Da Silva. Da Silva wants a takedown but no success here.

The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Antonio Neto. Neto clinches but Da Silva breaks the clinch and Da Silva decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Neto's guard. Da Silva looks gassed! Neto kicks Da Silva off and gets to his feet. Da Silva closes the distance and pushes Neto back into the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Neto for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure. Neto gets a warning from the ref for wasting time. The ref breaks the fighters up, due to lack of action by Antonio Neto. Neto wants to clinch but Da Silva slips to the side and Da Silva counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Da Silva. Neto stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Da Silva manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Neto wants to stand but Da Silva is controlling his posture from full guard. Da Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Neto gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Da Silva manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Da Silva is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Neto is forced to tap! Great finish!
