Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Oscar Gage (ranked 250 p4p, 569 weight class) and Ichioka Kaori (ranked 44 p4p, 83 weight class). Kaori is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by GOZEN. Oscar Gage could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Ichioka Kaori's chin.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ichioka Kaori!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gage misses the shot to the body.
Gage tries to clinch up.

Kaori feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Gages jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
It looks like Oscar Gage has been cut.
Gage takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gage shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kaori pinned against the cage. Kaori gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Oscar Gage seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
