This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 27 wins and 11 losses; John Lee! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 13 wins and 7 losses; Jackson Ramirez!
The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.

Lee moves into the clinch.
Lee can't get the takedown.
Lee is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Lee has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Ramirez clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Ramirez trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.

A bit of a pause in the action here. Ramirez controlling the positon.

Ramirez is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Lee is defending well though. Ramirez let's go of the attempt for now.

Ramirez is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Lee has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Ramirez has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Lee's body.

Ramirez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Lee haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
