Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abdullah Zaire (ranked 1322 p4p, 2532 weight class) and Brian Burns (ranked 199 p4p, 359 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Abdullah Zaire!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brian Burns!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Sam Margolis and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burns throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Zaire walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Burns throws a hook to the side of Zaire's head but Zaire sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Burns throws a hook but Zaire blocks it.
Burns throws a big shot that misses.
Burns throws a nice looking combination but Zaire bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Zaire throws a leg kick
and Burns connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Burns throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Zaire fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Burns swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Burns throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Brian Burns seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zaire changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Burns tries to avoid it but Zaire manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Burns to the ground. Burns escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Zaire throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Burns tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Zaire is in Burns's guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Burns wants to stand but Zaire is controlling the position.
Zaire missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Zaire is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
Zaire content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Burns working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Zaire.
Zaire throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Burns works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Zaire definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Zaire throws a big elbow that misses.
Zaire scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Zaire postures up in Burns's guard and throws a big left but Burns blocks it.
Burns wants to sweep here but Zaire controlling him for the moment.
Burns has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Zaire off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Burns feints and as Zaire raises his hands in defense, Burns changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Zaire has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Zaire has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Burns doesn't defend quickly enough and Zaire has managed to lock this one up! Can Burns escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Zaire on a fantastic submission victory.
