Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kevin Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Victor de Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Bate pesadão. de Souza has chosen Letters from the sky - Civil Twilight as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Luis Engracia and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie misses with a straight right.
de Souza drives through and clinches with Gracie against the cage.
de Souza changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Gracie fights it off and pushes away nicely.
de Souza fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
de Souza changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gracie tries to avoid it but de Souza manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gracie to the ground. Gracie escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kevin Gracie has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Victor de Souza.
de Souza shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Gracie pinned against the cage. Gracie gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
de Souza misses with a takedown attempt - Gracie sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
