Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bonzi Bailey (ranked 4592 p4p, 24893 weight class) and Yawa Kiang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bonzi Bailey! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Yawa Kiang! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Percy O'Donnell and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bailey rushes Kiang and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Kiang is defending well against a takedown attempt. Bailey successfully pulls guard.
Kiang must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kiang is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Bailey keeping moving, preventing Kiang from controlling successfully. Bailey trying to control the position here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kiang stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bailey swivels though and keeps the full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kiang wants to control from the top but Bailey keeps moving. Bailey tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kiang throws a big elbow that misses.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Kiang fails with the takedown. It looked like Bailey was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Kiang. A low kick from Bailey misses and Kiang counters with a body kick that brings a smile to the face of both fighters. Bailey feints a jab promting Kiang to slip. Bailey then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Kiang slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bailey tries for a takedown but Kiang sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. As Bailey backs off Kiang throws a huge counter combo but Bailey manages to avoid it all. Bailey is breathing heavily. Bailey closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kiang circles away. Kiang unleashes a big counter combination but Bailey bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bonzi Bailey. That's going to take a lot out of him. Kiang shoots for a takedown but Bailey saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bailey shoots in looking for a takedown but Kiang manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Bailey's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Kiang doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Bailey tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Kiang defends well and Bailey ends up having to push Kiang into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Kiang wants a takedown.
Bailey is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Kiang to keep the fight standing. Kiang has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bailey is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Kiang has Bailey pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Kiang pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Bailey tumbling to the mat - Kiang dives into Bailey's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiang slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Kiang trying to control the position from guard on top but Bailey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bailey working for submissions but it's allowed Kiang to get to half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Bailey wants to get back to full guard but Kiang has passed into side control. You can see the frustration on Bailey's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Yawa Kiang will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Kiang blocks a head kick by Bailey.
Bailey fails with a takedown attempt. Bailey throws a sloppy head kick and Kiang moves out of range easily. And Kiang responds with a good body kick, but Bailey manages to step out the way in time. No luck with that takedown attempt from Bailey. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bailey tries to close the distance and clinch but Kiang swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kiang follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Kiang shoots in but no luck this time. Kiang leaves Bailey with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Kiang replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Bailey blocks it well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bonzi Bailey. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bailey shoots and misses and Kiang counters with a nice leg kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Excellent takedown into side control there by Kiang. Bailey is not content to let Kiang control the position. Kiang in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Kiang landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Bailey throws a couple of strikes even though he's not really in a good position to do so.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bailey is trying to control Kiang's posture but Kiang avoids it. Kiang just content to control the position. Bailey tries to improve position but can't. Bailey is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Bailey tries to improve position but can't. Yawa Kiang has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiang is looking to take a break and control but Bailey is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Bailey shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Kiang pinned against the cage. Kiang gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Kiang throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Bailey tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Kiang is in Bailey's guard. Kiang wants to control from the top but Bailey keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bailey wants to control the position but Kiang says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Kiang prevents Bailey from improving his position. Bailey wants to control but Kiang is keeping busy and won't allow it. Kiang is trying to control. Bailey wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Bailey is looking to improve his position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bailey is trying to maintain the position but Kiang is very close to passing his half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Yawa Kiang showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! A slapping body kick lands there for Kiang. Kiang changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bailey tries to avoid it but Kiang manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bailey to the ground. Bailey escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kiang has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kiang stuffs the takedown. Bailey has a takedown stuffed. And Kiang tries to counter it with a takedown but Bailey pushes his down on his head and steps out. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kiang is trying hard to land a takedown here. Bailey sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Bailey tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Kiang shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Bailey sprawls well. Bailey wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kiang gets slowly back to his feet. Bonzi Bailey has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Yawa Kiang.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bailey wants to clinch. Horrible takedown attempt by Kiang or perhaps it was just good defense by Bailey, which made it look bad. Bailey shoots in looking for a takedown. Kiang tries to sprawl out of it but Bailey keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Kiang manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Kiang is trying to counter with his kicks.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Kiang manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bailey on his heels. He'll look to pass Bailey's guard now, I'm sure. Bailey trying to control the position.
Kiang wants to control from the top but Bailey keeps moving. Bailey has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kiang trying to control the position from guard on top but Bailey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bailey is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Bailey is looking for a triangle but Kiang pushes his legs off easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Bailey looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Horrible takedown attempt by Bailey or perhaps it was just good defense by Kiang, which made it look bad. Kiang steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect. Kiang shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Yawa Kiang is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Kiang trying to control from half guard but Bailey is working away.
And that's the end of the fight! Yawa Kiang comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Kiang winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
