Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Quandale Dingle (ranked 4577 p4p, 24799 weight class) and Tapad Amiga (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tapad Amiga is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Quandale Dingle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 4 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tapad Amiga! The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Horrible takedown attempt by Amiga or perhaps it was just good defense by Dingle, which made it look bad. Dingle shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Amiga pinned against the cage. Amiga gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dingle closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Dingle lands in his opponent's guard. Dingle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Amiga swivels though and keeps the full guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Amiga can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dingle controls the pace. Amiga is trying to control the position but Dingle postures up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dingle engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Dingle gets to his feet. Amiga looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Dingle scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Dingle tries to pass to full mount but Amiga defends it. Dingle keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dingle wants to stand up but Amiga manages to regain full guard. Dingle gets to his feet - Amiga follows without any prompting. Dingle closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Amiga is trying to control but can't.
Dingle slows the pace down in half guard. It looks like Dingle is going to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dingle tries to pass to full mount but Amiga defends it. Dingle is working hard here to advance position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dingle content to control rather than advance. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Dingle shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Dingle was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Amiga stops Dingle from passing to mount. Amiga seems a little lost for a moment, as Dingle dominates the positioning. Dingle has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Dingle decides to stand up, so the ref orders Amiga to his feet. Dingle looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Quandale Dingle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga stuffs the takedown attempt from Dingle. Dingle gets slowly back to his feet. Dingle misses with a hook. Amiga ducked under it nicely. As Dingle backs off Amiga throws a huge counter combo but Dingle manages to avoid it all. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Quandale Dingle dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action! A punch combination from Dingle misses. Dingle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Dingle is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Amiga can do to turn this around? Amiga pulls Dingle in close to his closed guard and prevents Dingle from doing any damage or advancing position. Dingle wants to stand but Amiga has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Amiga being controlled here, momentarily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dingle trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Quandale Dingle overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's one minute gone in the round. Amiga is working an open guard so Dingle takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Dingle changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Amiga tries to avoid it but Dingle manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Amiga to the ground. Amiga escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Dingle fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Amiga sprawls well initially but Dingle persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Dingle performing his best blanket impression for a moment. It looks like Dingle is going to stand back up.
Dingle is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Amiga keeping full guard, as Dingle tries to pass. Dingle decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Dingle throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Amiga tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Dingle is in Amiga's guard. Dingle tries to free his leg and advance position but Amiga is retaining full guard. Dingle is pushing down on Amiga's leg trying to pass to half guard. Amiga is fighting to maintain full guard but Dingle has managed to sneak the leg through. Amiga is breathing heavily. Dingle is taking a breather. Amiga says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. Amiga trying to control here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dingle with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Amiga won't allow Dingle to pass to mount. Dingle stalling. Dingle missing with some ground and pound from the half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Amiga is in trouble now - Dingle has advanced to mount! Dingle sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Dingle's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Quandale Dingle dominated that second round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Dingle fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Amiga to the ground. Dingle is now in Amiga's guard. Dingle content to stall in guard here. Amiga is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's one minute gone in the round. Dingle working some strikes from top position. Dingle wants to get up but he can't break Amiga's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Amiga keeping full guard, as Dingle tries to pass.

Amiga tries to avoid it but Dingle manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Amiga to the ground. Amiga escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. And Amiga responds with a good body kick, but Dingle manages to step out the way in time. Dingle fails with a takedown attempt. Amiga let fly with a counter punch to the body but it didn't land. Dingle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. No luck for Dingle with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quandale Dingle. That's going to take a lot out of him. Amiga leaves Dingle with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Amiga follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land. Dingle tries to bum rush Amiga with a series of wild strikes but Amiga uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Amiga misses with a body kick. Dingle fails to land with a series of punches.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Amiga. Dingle fails with the takedown.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dingle scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Dingle is looking to take a break and control but Amiga is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dingle is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Amiga is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Amiga is looking for a sweep. Amiga struggling a bit here. Quandale Dingle is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dingle is staying tight to Amiga's torso, preventing him from escaping. Dingle stands up and we're back to a striking position. Tapad Amiga has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Dingle misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Amiga is trying to counter with his kicks. Dingle shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Amiga as he jumps to the side. Amiga replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Dingle blocks it well. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Amiga shoots in but no luck this time.
And that's the end of the fight! Quandale Dingle showed his dominance in that final round. Well Dingle has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
