Darren Elkins has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Darren Elkins!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Saurabh Pandeya!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Alec Ball and Dillan Fox.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pandeya swings for the body but Elkins moves out of range.
Elkins throws a nice looking combination but Pandeya bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pandeya tries to move into range but Elkins moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Elkins is looking to clinch.
Pandeya swats away the attempt to clinch by Elkins.
Pandeya swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Elkins moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pandeya scores with a nice right hand.
Pandeya feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Elkinss jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Pandeya cracks Elkins with an open hand slap.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Pandeya takes a swing at Elkins's ribcage but misses.
Elkins seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Elkins definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Pandeya connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Jab by Elkins.
Elkins's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Pandeya connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Elkins scrambles back to his feet.

Elkins is rocked!
Pandeya keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Elkins tries to clinch but Pandeya moves out of range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Pandeya has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Pandeya looks to land a right hand but Elkins moved out of range.
Elkins doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Pandeya counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Oh Elkins is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Pandeya drops Elkins with a huge uppercut! Elkins drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Pandeya is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Saurabh Pandeya!
An out of breath Saurabh Pandeya thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
