Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ben Solomon (ranked 4978 p4p, 3808 weight class) and Manuel Tillich (ranked 553 p4p, 477 weight class). Ben Solomon has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ben Solomon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Manuel Tillich!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Andrew Berry and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Solomon looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Manuel Tillich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tillich just misses with a punch to the body.
Tillich throws a right and a left that both miss.
Tillich throws a nice looking combination but Solomon bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tillich takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

It looks like Manuel Tillich has been cut.
Solomon staying out of range there.
Solomon half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

and Tillich counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
