Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chao Wang (ranked 24774 p4p, 24759 weight class) and Pamby Plamblit (ranked 614 p4p, 602 weight class). Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Pamby Plamblit enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chao Wang! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Pamby Plamblit! The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Plamblit bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wang's head. Wang shoots in for a double leg but Plamblit sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Plamblit throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Wang throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Plamblit sees it coming and avoids it easily. A nice side step and Plamblit releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Wang throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Plamblit stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. No luck for Wang with that takedown attempt. Plamblit unleashes a big counter combination but Wang bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Plamblit dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Wang fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chao Wang. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Plamblit circles away from the clinch attempt and Plamblit counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's one minute gone in the round. Plamblit stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Wang with the inside leg kick. Wang tries to clinch up enabling Plamblit to counter with a crisp jab. Chao Wang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Plamblit scores with a sloppy right hand. Wang should have avoided that one. Wang takes a shot right to the bread basket. Wang shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Plamblit but Plamblit pushes him off and we're back to square one. Wang tries to close the distance and clinch but Plamblit swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. A chopping leg kick lands by Plamblit. Plamblit blocks a head kick by Wang.
Wang moves out of range of the body kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wang has closed the distance and engaged Plamblit in a clinch.
Wang's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Wang is breathing heavily. Plamblit can't break the clinch.

Wang scores with a nice hook to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Plamblit looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Wang has hold of one of Plamblit's legs. Plamblit is fighting the takedown attempt but Wang gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Plamblit has an active guard here but Wang has managed to pass into half guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Plamblit looking for submissions off his back. Plamblit actively working from the bottom here. Plamblit is trying to get back to full guard. Wang throws a strike but Plamblit avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Wang trying to control the position from guard on top but Plamblit is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wang content to stall in guard here. Wang loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Plamblit has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Wang can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Plamblit is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Wang is aware though and is defending well. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Pamby Plamblit dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! Wang fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Plamblit avoids it really well and circles away. Plamblit steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Wang. We've been informed that Plamblit has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Wang uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Plamblit has time to react. Wang closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Plamblit quickly recovers to half guard. Wang slows the pace down in half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Plamblit is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Wang pulls his head out easily. Wang decides to stand and escape the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. A telegraphed right hand from Wang misses the target. Pamby Plamblit is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Wang shoots in but no luck this time. Plamblit tries to counter by closing the distance. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wang tries to clinch up. Wang moves to clinch but Plamblit breaks away and Plamblit counters with a three punch combo that has Wang backing up. Wang nods at Plamblit to acknowledge the strikes. Plamblit throws a sloppy head kick and Wang moves out of range easily. Plamblit scores with a hook. Plamblit closes the distance and lands a one-two. Wang moves in looking to clinch but Plamblit pushes him off. And Plamblit tries to counter it with a takedown but Wang pushes his down on his head and steps out. Wang is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Plamblit's half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Plamblit is looking to control Wang's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Plamblit avoid being mounted?
That's two minutes gone in the round. Plamblit tries to roll over but Wang keeps him under control. The fighters are battling for position here. Plamblit manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Wang got a little sloppy there for a moment and Plamblit has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Wang has managed to get both his arms back between Plamblit's legs - danger averted. Wang controlling from the top position. Plamblit had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Wang defends it easily.

Plamblit keeping moving, preventing Wang from controlling successfully. Wang controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Wang trying to control but Plamblit is working from the bottom.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Plamblit lands with a cross. Wang closes this distance looking for a takedown but Plamblit circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chao Wang. That's going to take a lot out of him. Plamblit is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Wang tries to clinch but Plamblit moves out of range. Wang gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Plamblit counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Plamblit stalks Wang and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Wang's face. Wang staggers backwards, shaken. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Wang with a lazy takedown attempt and Plamblit counters by moving into the clinch. Plamblit wants to break free but Wang has control.

Pamby Plamblit showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Donk. Plamblit catches Wang right on the button with a cross. Wang looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Wang tries to clinch but fails miserably and Plamblit counters with a stiff right hand. Wang gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Plamblit connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. A jab lands there for Plamblit. Plamblit connects with a good right hand that stumbles Wang. Wang circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Plamblit tries to bum rush Wang with a series of wild strikes but Wang uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Wang attempts a counter takedown but Plamblit avoids it well and moves away. Plamblit misses with a body kick. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wang fails with the takedown and Plamblit counters with a lovely shot to the body. An inside leg kick lands from Wang. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Plamblit throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Wang closes the distance and clinches. Wang keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Plamblit's efforts to push away. Plamblit has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Plamblit is trying to break free. Wang breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Wang tries to clinch but Plamblit moves out of range. Plamblit lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wang tries to clinch up. Plamblit feints the counter takedown. Plamblit's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Plamblit duly obliges. Wang shoots for a double leg takedown but Plamblit sprawls well. He's pushed Wang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chao Wang. That's going to take a lot out of him. Wang moves out of range of the body kick. Plamblit throws the kick towards the body but Wang avoids it. An inside leg kick lands from Plamblit. Wang misses with a right hand and Plamblit counters with a lovely straight right hand! Plamblit fakes the leg kick and cracks Wang in the body. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Wang tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Plamblit manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Plamblit wants to counter with a clinch but Wang pushes him away. Nice body kick there by Plamblit. Chao Wang is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Plamblit connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Plamblit dips to his left and cracks Wang with an uppercut! Plamblit thuds his right hand into Wang's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Wang throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Plamblit's waist but Plamblit gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wang off to one side. Wang blocks a head kick by Plamblit.
Plamblit scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Wang doesn't seem bothered though. Plamblit throws a right and a left that Wang avoids nicely. Plamblit connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. Plamblit scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Wang shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Plamblit sprawls well. Plamblit wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wang gets slowly back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Plamblit throws a body kick that misses. Plamblit throws a head kick but Wang moves out of range.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Plamblit stuffs the takedown. Nice shot by Plamblit. Plamblit throws a right and a left that Wang avoids nicely. Wang throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Plamblit's waist but Plamblit gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wang off to one side. Plamblit lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Plamblit darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Wang looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Plamblit scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. Plamblit keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Chao Wang has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Plamblit dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Pamby Plamblit comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Plamblit winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
