Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Larry Baker (ranked 5725 p4p, 22649 weight class) and Greg Bustack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 30 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Greg Bustack!
The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bustack tries to clinch up but Baker circles away and keeps his distance.
Baker attempts a counter takedown but Bustack avoids it well and moves away.
Baker swats away the attempt to clinch by Bustack.
Bustack tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Baker paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bustack tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Baker manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Baker shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Baker stays in close to Bustack's body and controls the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Baker postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Baker's corner is telling him to maintain position.

Baker postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Baker is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Baker misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Baker has hold of Bustack's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Bustack tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Baker cranks the arm and Bustack screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Bustack, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
