Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Johnson (ranked 5359 p4p, 24616 weight class) and David Brenda (ranked 528 p4p, 573 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Johnson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, David Brenda! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Brenda avoids the body shot from Johnson.
Brenda is looking for the big counter here. Johnson tries to score with a low kick but Brenda moves his leg out of the way. Johnson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Brenda is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Johnson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Johnson scores with a jab to the body. We've been told by Johnson's head coaches at Blacksmith MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Nice uppercut there from Johnson. Johnson lands with a right hand. Good leg kick by Johnson. Brenda showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Johnson.
That's one minute gone in the round. Brenda checks the leg kick nicely there.
A chopping leg kick lands by Johnson. Brenda on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Johnson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brenda shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Johnson swings for the body but Brenda moves out of range.
Brenda with a poor takedown and Johnson makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Brenda steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Johnson. Johnson throws a body punch but Brenda moves out of range. Johnson bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Brenda's head backwards.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson misses with a two punch combination.
Brenda wants to counter with a clinch but Johnson pushes him away. Johnson throws a body shot but no joy. Johnson takes a swing at Brenda's ribcage but misses. Donk. Johnson catches Brenda right on the button with a cross. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Brenda walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Johnson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Brenda misses with a takedown and Johnson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Johnson falls off balance throwing a combination
and Brenda counters with a series of strikes. Johnson will be more careful next time no doubt.

Johnson misses with a double jab
and Brenda counters with a two punch combo. Brenda takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Brenda shoots for a takedown but Johnson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Marcus Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Brenda. Johnson with a hook. Johnson lands with a shot to the body. Brenda looks winded! Johnson throws a one two combo.
Johnson is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Johnson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brenda moves away. Johnson sets himself, and Brenda steps forward looking for the clinch! Johnson avoids it this time. Brenda shoots in but Johnson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Johnson lands with a good body shot. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Brenda needs to keep his hands up - Johnson had a free shot at his head there. Brenda gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Johnson. Brenda misses with a takedown and Johnson counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Johnson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Johnson throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Johnson scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Marcus Johnson dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. Johnson thumps Brenda with a low kick. Brenda's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Johnson connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Brenda scrambles back to his feet. Brenda takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Johnson scores with a head kick. Brenda tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. Johnson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brenda keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Johnson. Brenda staying out of range there. Marcus Johnson is winning the standup battle so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Johnson works the jab nicely. Johnson lands with a good body shot. Johnson looks to score with a jab to the body but Brenda is just out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson throws a combination. Brenda tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Johnson throws a body punch but Brenda moves out of range. Johnson misses the shot to the body. Johnson lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Johnson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Brenda lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Brenda has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Brenda tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Johnson connects with a jab. Johnson swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Brenda wants to counter the offense by Johnson and move into the clinch position. Nice defenses there by Brenda. Brenda misses with a takedown attempt - Johnson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson scores with a decent looking hook. Johnson changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Johnson's corner calls for a 1-2. Johnson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Johnson chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Johnson is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Brenda can do to turn this around? Johnson connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Johnson misses with a body shot.
Brenda wants to counter with a clinch but Johnson pushes him away. Johnson scoring well with a low kick there.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnson moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Brenda takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Brenda is breathing heavily. Johnson wants to slow Brenda down by chopping away at his legs. Brenda is trying desperately to land a takedown but Johnson is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Brenda. Johnson fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Brenda. Brenda walks into a straight right hand from Johnson. Marcus Johnson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Brenda avoids the body shot from Johnson.
Johnson throws a quick inside leg kick. A low kick from Johnson misses and Brenda moves into the clinch. Johnson tries to throw a body punch but Brenda avoids it by throwing Johnson back against the cage.

Johnson jabs Brenda right on the nose. Brenda blinks but takes it well. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brenda on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Johnson connects with a jab. Johnson scores with a hook. Johnson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Johnson's corner calls for a 1-2. Johnson obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Johnson clobbers Brenda with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.

The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round! Brenda checks a low kick from Johnson. Johnson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Brenda has time to react. Johnson misses the jab. Johnson comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Brenda ducks right into an uppercut from Johnson. Johnson misses with a body shot.

Brenda ducks right into an uppercut from Johnson. Brenda takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Johnson scores with a hook to the body. Brenda takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson thuds his right hand into Brenda's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Good standup being displayed there by Johnson as he connects with a hook. Brenda gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Johnson counters with a straight right hand. Brenda takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Brenda is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him? Brenda takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Brenda seems to have recovered his senses. Brenda takes one on the button. Johnson moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Johnson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brenda manages to avoid it. Brenda unleashes a big counter combination but Johnson bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnson takes a swing at Brenda's ribcage but misses. Johnson digs a good hook to Brenda's body.
Brenda's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down. Johnson scores with a jab to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johnson with a nice cross. Johnson lands a body shot.
Johnson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Brenda manages to avoid it. Johnson scoring well with a low kick there.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Brenda takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Johnson drops Brenda with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Brenda looks back up at him and smiles so Johnson waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
Johnson throws a nice outside leg kick. An inside leg kick lands from Johnson. Johnson looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Johnson misses with a body shot.
Despite the aggression on Brenda's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Johnson lands with a nice body punch. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Brenda takes one to the side of the head.
Johnson thuds a left hand into Brenda's body. Johnson cracks Brenda with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A low kick lands for Johnson.
Brenda takes a body punch but keeps moving. Brenda on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Johnson scores with a jab. Brenda acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Johnson looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Johnson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Brenda moves away. Johnson connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Johnson wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. David Brenda has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Marcus Johnson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Johnson lands with a shot to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! Marcus Johnson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Johnson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... Marcus Johnson! Marcus Johnson spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
