Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Chimzat Khamaev (ranked 3028 p4p, 4772 weight class) and Magomed Kozmas (ranked 368 p4p, 467 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Khamaev darts in and clinches Kozmas up against the cage.
Khamaev can't get the takedown.

Khamaev is fighting off a takedown attempt but Kozmas is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Khamaev to the mat. Khamaev regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Kozmas is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Kozmas avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kozmas throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Khamaev works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Kozmas is sitting in close to Khamaev's body. Khamaev has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Kozmas is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Kozmas is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Khamaev.
