Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeronimo Puno (ranked 21 p4p, 60 weight class) and Billy Bob Brown (ranked 4 p4p, 9 weight class). Puno's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, RAGS 2 RICHES. Billy Bob Brown told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jeronimo Puno!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 19 - 9 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Billy Bob Brown!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Brown swings away with a leg kick that misses.
Brown misses with an uppercut.
As Brown backs away, Puno returns fire with a leg kick that just misses.
Puno throws a body punch but Brown moves out of range.

Puno takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Jeronimo Puno has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
A low kick lands for Puno.

Puno checks the leg kick nicely there.
Puno feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Billy Bob Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown moves out of range as Puno strikes.
Brown tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Puno counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
It looks like Billy Bob Brown has been cut.
Brown ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Brown throws a big shot that misses.
A counter left hand to the body from Puno misses its target.

Brown slips under a jab from Puno.
Puno takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Jeronimo Puno's cut is getting worse.
Brown throws a right and a left that Puno avoids nicely.
Puno looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Brown misses with a body shot.
Brown takes a swing at Puno's ribcage but misses.
Brown paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Brown throws a front kick that sends Puno stumbling back into the cage.
Puno looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Brown connects with a jab.
Jeronimo Puno's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
A low kick from Brown misses
and Puno cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Brown looks for the body kick but Puno saw that one coming.
It looked like Puno was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Brown.

Brown throws a push kick but Puno slaps the foot to one side.
Brown scores with a nice right hand.
Brown thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Puno if he has to take too many more of those.
Puno is breathing heavily.
Brown cracks Puno with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Puno looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Brown finish him?
Jeez, Jeronimo Puno's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Jeronimo Puno's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Billy Bob Brown!

During a confident post fight interview, Billy Bob Brown thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
