Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Arturo Ellacuria!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Shakes!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Russell Pearce and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ellacuria misses with a hook. Shakes ducked under it nicely.
Shakes tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Ellacuria manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Shakes tries to close the distance and clinch but Ellacuria swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ellacuria throws a shot from downtown. Shakes moves away and avoids it.
Ellacuria has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Average Judas Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Ellacuria throws a right hand that Shakes ducks under and follows up with a left that Shakes also avoids with ease.
A punch lands to the side of Shakes 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Ellacuria throws a lazy uppercut
and Shakes counters with a left to the body.
A slow jab from Shakes misses its intended target.
A jab lands there for Shakes.
Ellacuria really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Ellacuria darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Ellacuria fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Shakes is rocked!
Shakes checks a leg kick.
Shakes is still on wobbly legs! Can Ellacuria finish him?
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shakes tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Ellacuria counters with a left and a right... And another left! Shakes is down! He's done! The ref dives in to save him and that's the end of the fight!
