Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Torkel Bystrom (ranked 3163 p4p, 22503 weight class) and Pascal Gouveia (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 17 - 14 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Torkel Bystrom!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Pascal Gouveia!
The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Viktor Lagutenko and Ivan Kurochkin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bystrom tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gouveia was well out of range. Poor timing from Bystrom.
Gouveia changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Bystrom lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Bystrom moves into the clinch.
Bystrom will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Gouveia up against the cage.
Gouveia is trying to break the clinch but Bystrom has him pressed against the cage.
Bystrom tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Gouveia avoids it.
Bystrom definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Bystrom turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bystrom manages to end up in side control.
Gouveia is looking for a sweep.

Bystrom decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Bystrom has taken the fight to the clinch.

Bystrom is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gouveia can't fight it off and eventually Bystrom manages to take the fight to the floor. Gouveia looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Bystrom gets to his feet - Gouveia follows without any prompting.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Gouveia moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Torkel Bystrom seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gouveia uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bystrom.
Bystrom shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Bystrom connects with a body shot.
Bystrom looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Gouveia with the counter takedown but Bystrom avoids it easily.
Torkel Bystrom is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Bystrom throws a right and a left that Gouveia avoids nicely.
Bystrom ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Gouveia moves away.
And Gouveia tries to counter it with a takedown but Bystrom pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Gouveia takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Bystrom drives through and clinches with Gouveia against the cage.

Bystrom ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Bystrom no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Gouveia stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Bystrom throws up his legs and catches Gouveia in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Gouveia tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Bystrom! That came out of nowhere!
