Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gray Fullbuster!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rico Salvacion!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fullbuster throws a right hand that misses
and Salvacion counters with a body kick that stops Fullbuster in his tracks momentarily.
Salvacion slips under a jab.
Salvacion steps in looking to counter with the mid kick but it doesn't connect.
Salvacion slips a jab from Fullbuster.
Salvacion steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fullbuster.
Fullbuster lands with a right hand.
Salvacion steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Fullbuster.
Salvacion follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Salvacion takes a jab right on the kisser.
Fullbuster scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Fullbuster missing with a left hand there. Salvacion was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Salvacion uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Fullbuster.
And Salvacion responds with a good body kick, but Fullbuster manages to step out the way in time.
Gray Fullbuster seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Salvacion shoots for a takedown but Fullbuster saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Fullbuster lands a big uppercut and Salvacion crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Salvacion looks OK. Fullbuster waves Salvacion back to his feet!
Salvacion is rocked!
Fullbuster sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Salvacion's defenses. It connects perfectly with Salvacion's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Gray Fullbuster!
