This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the welterweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of New York, with a TWGC record of 15 wins and 7 losses; Enamorado Bandito! And in the blue corner, fighting out of New York, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 4 losses; David McDonald!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.


The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
McDonald throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Bandito's waist but Bandito gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing McDonald off to one side.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
McDonald shoots in and drives through. Bandito sprawls well.
McDonald has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

McDonald tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bandito wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Bandito is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but McDonald is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
McDonald gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.

McDonald is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Bandito pulls his head out easily.
Bandito passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for McDonald!

Bandito is trying to stick to McDonald's back but McDonald is turning into Bandito. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Bandito's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by McDonald.

Bandito bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in McDonald's guard.

Bandito stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McDonald swivels though and keeps the full guard.

McDonald is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Bandito defends well.

McDonald has his foot on Bandito's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bandito works his way back into a safe position though.

Enamorado Bandito spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
