The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Wellington. Silva does a little dance to reset his feet.
Silva misses with a shot to the body
and Wellington counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Good leg kick by Wellington.
Silva misses the jab.
Silva moves out of range as Wellington throws a body kick.
Silva ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Silva cracks Wellington with a right hand to the side of the head.
Silva swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Silva cracks Wellington with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Silva tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Wellington was well out of range. Poor timing from Silva.

Silva shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Wellington is trying to defend but Silva finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Silva lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Wellington quite badly. Wellington pulls Silva in close trying to recover. Silva postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Wellington on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Wellington doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
