And in the blue corner, fighting out of St Petersburg, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Petr Kuzmitch! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and Phil Schofield.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Boco gets caught napping as Kuzmitch dives in and scores a takedown. Boco manages to retain guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Boco (0) vs (2) Kuzmitch Boco is breathing heavily. Kuzmitch slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Score +3 for passing guard: Boco (0) vs (5) Kuzmitch Kuzmitch staying calm. Boco gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Score +2 for reaching mount: Boco (0) vs (7) Kuzmitch Kuzmitch takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. It looks like Kuzmitch might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Kuzmitch is continuing to stall.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The adventures of Kuzmitch the control monster continue. Boring. Kuzmitch's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Let's hope that Kuzmitch has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
