Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Josea Silva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hank The Chicken!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Seu Braga and Leandro Rodrigues.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Chicken dives in and scores a takedown into Silva's guard.
Silva can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as The Chicken controls the pace.
Silva escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. The Chicken gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The Chicken stays in close to Silva's body and controls the position.
Silva has The Chicken pulled in close to control his posture.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Silva wants to sweep here but The Chicken controlling him for the moment.

Silva is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Silva throws a sloppy head kick and The Chicken moves out of range easily.
The Chicken closes the distance and clinches.
The Chicken tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Silva's elbow.
Silva has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. The Chicken is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

Silva has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but The Chicken is on him like a limpet, forcing Silva back against the cage.
