Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Saw Ba Nyein (ranked 5447 p4p, 3812 weight class) and Ryan Wizard (ranked 506 p4p, 411 weight class). The key to victory for Saw Ba Nyein has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Saw Ba Nyein!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ryan Wizard!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ba Nyein lands a really nice looking cross but Wizard seems unphased.
Ba Nyein scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Wizard throws a hook but Ba Nyein avoids it easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
A slow jab from Wizard misses its intended target.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wizard lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ba Nyein has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ba Nyein and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Ba Nyein thumps Wizard with a low kick.
Ba Nyein keeps the fight on the outside.
A little feinted left hand from Ba Nyein on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Wizard throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ba Nyein stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ba Nyein bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Wizard's head.

Wizard misses with a body shot.
Wizard darts in looking for a takedown but Ba Nyein gets double underhooks and turns Wizard into the cage.
Ba Nyein throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
It seemed like Wizard was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Ba Nyein tries to clinch up but Wizard circles away and keeps his distance.
Ba Nyein uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Wizard.

Wizard misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Ba Nyein throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Wizard on the side of the head.

Wizard shoots in and bounces Ba Nyein off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Wizard wants to control from the top but Ba Nyein keeps moving.
Ba Nyein lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Wizard working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Ba Nyein doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Ba Nyein manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Wizard is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ba Nyein is aware though and is defending well.

We've been told by Ba Nyein's head coaches at Hilo MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Wizard gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Wizard finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Ba Nyein's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Wizard falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!

Saw Ba Nyein decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
