The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Seu Braga and Daniel Cesar.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Peziev throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Innkeeper was covering up waiting for the punch and Peziev finishes the takedown easily into guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Innkeeper (0) vs (2) Peziev
Peziev wants to pass the guard but Innkeeper is keeping the position.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Innkeeper keeping moving, preventing Peziev from controlling successfully.

Peziev stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Innkeeper swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Peziev drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Peziev jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Peziev tries to free his leg and advance position but Innkeeper is retaining full guard.

Peziev thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Innkeeper knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Peziev on the ground.
Innkeeper pulls Peziev in close to his closed guard and prevents Peziev from doing any damage or advancing position.

Peziev drops back looking for a leg! Innkeeper is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Innkeeper manages to kick Peziev off! Peziev jumps back into Innkeeper's guard.

Peziev is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Innkeeper working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Peziev doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Innkeeper is tightening it up a little... Peziev has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Peziev reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Peziev taps out! Nice BJJ there by Innkeeper!
