Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Brad Chestner (ranked 1631 p4p, 1979 weight class) and Misak Grigorian (ranked 236 p4p, 286 weight class). Chestner kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Black Eyed Bruiser. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Brad Chestner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Misak Grigorian! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Paul Tew and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grigorian just misses with a punch to the body.
Chestner defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Grigorian. Chestner gets caught napping as Grigorian dives in and scores a takedown. Chestner manages to retain guard. Chestner isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Grigorian stacks Chestner on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Grigorian! Chestner is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Chestner gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chestner trying to control but Grigorian postures up.
Chestner is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grigorian trying to control from Chestner's half guard. Chestner has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Grigorian is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Chestner has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Grigorian should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Chestner has tightened it up now! Grigorian should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Brad Chestner! After the fight, Brad Chestner was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
