Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Paul Eclaro (ranked 4247 p4p, 4204 weight class) and Christian Baratelli (ranked 0 p4p, 421 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Paul Eclaro has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Paul Eclaro seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Paul Eclaro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Christian Baratelli! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Tarja Halkonen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baratelli gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Eclaro takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Baratelli tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Eclaro avoids it. Eclaro pressing his opponent against the cage. Baratelli decides to pull guard. Baratelli had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Eclaro defends it easily. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Eclaro scoring with punches to the head and body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Eclaro is pushing down on Baratelli's leg trying to pass to half guard. Baratelli is fighting to maintain full guard but Eclaro has managed to sneak the leg through. Eclaro thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Baratelli's head. Eclaro tries to pass to full mount but Baratelli defends it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Eclaro not landing any meaningful shots this time. Eclaro trying to control the action but Baratelli is working from the bottom. Eclaro is working for a kimura but Baratelli is defending it quite comfortably.
Eclaro is pressing down on Baratelli's thigh, looking to free his foot. Baratelli is holding on for now. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Eclaro controlling the action here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Baratelli trying to control here.
Baratelli really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Eclaro. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Eclaro tries to pass to full mount but Baratelli defends it. Eclaro moves nicely into side control. Eclaro thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Eclaro is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Baratelli looks calm but he's in trouble here. Eclaro gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Baratelli is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Eclaro lets go of the hold and Baratelli can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Paul Eclaro!
