With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Darwin Zambrano!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stanley misses with a hook
and Zambrano counters with a nice body shot.

Stanley shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Stanley is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Stanley is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Zambrano gets his way!

Well, with Zambrano on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Stanley is tapping out... Can he escape the position?

Stanley breaks Zambrano's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Stanley is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Stanley goes for a double leg but Zambrano avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Zambrano continues to drive forward.
Zambrano wants to counter the offense by Stanley and move into the clinch position.
I was talking to Stanley's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Stanley goes for a body shot but it's blocked.

Zambrano pushes Stanley back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.

Stanley goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Stanley drops down looking for an ankle pick but Zambrano pulls his leg out and moves away.
Stanley scores with a jab.

It looks like Darwin Zambrano has been cut.
Stanley is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Zambrano.
Zambrano scores with a spinning back kick!

Stanley takes a swing at Zambrano's ribcage but misses.
A nice side step and Zambrano releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Zambrano dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Zambrano misses the target.
Zambrano throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Stanley takes a swing at Zambrano's ribcage but misses.
Stanley swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Zambrano lands a nice shot that snaps Stanley's head back.

It looks like Roger Michael Stanley has been cut.
Zambrano avoids the body shot from Stanley.
The fighters circling - Stanley throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Stanley throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Zambrano moves into the clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Stanley has a couple of punches blocked by Zambrano.

Zambrano breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Stanley moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Stanley swats away the attempt to clinch by Zambrano.
Zambrano lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Stanley at a distance.
Roger Michael Stanley has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Stanley bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Zambrano's head backwards.
Stanley throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Zambrano stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Zambrano shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stanley's guard.

Zambrano drops back, looking for a kneebar! Stanley looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Stanley looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Stanley!

Stanley is looking to take a break and control but Zambrano is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Zambrano is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Stanley is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Zambrano tries to control the position but Stanley now has his back.
Zambrano tries to break free.

Zambrano has hold of Stanley's leg, trying to break free but it's let Stanley lock up a rear naked choke! This could be big trouble! Zambrano is turning an unusual color here… he's out! Stanley throws him to one side and jumps onto the cage to celebrate with his fans.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:59 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Roger Michael Stanley!
