Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Graay Mayynard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Damian Marley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Marley has chosen Welcome to Jamrock as his entrance music. Damian Marley has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marley fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
The fight stays on the outside here - Marley looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Marley shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mayynard but Mayynard pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Marley looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Mayynard trying to hold on to Marley's head to control him but Marley postures up.
Marley thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mayynard's head.
Mayynard wants to improve his position but Marley is controlling well.
Mayynard flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

Marley frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Marley breaks from Mayynard's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Marley wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

Marley avoids the attempt from Mayynard to control.
Mayynard is desperately trying to improve his position but Marley has a good base and remains in mount.
Mayynard is bucking up trying to escape but Marley cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Marley sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Marley has hold of Mayynard's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Mayynard manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
Mayynard wants to control but Marley is having none of it.
Marley wants to take his opponent's back but Mayynard doesn't allow it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Marley looks gassed!

Mayynard is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.
Mayynard tries to hold on but Marley postures up.
Marley throwing strikes here but Mayynard is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Mayynard sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Marley tries to pass to full mount but Mayynard defends it.
Marley is thwarting Mayynard's attempts to control the position.

Marley is looking for a kimura but Mayynard is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Marley to get the leverage.
Marley has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Marley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Marley fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Graay Mayynard has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Damian Marley.
Marley looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Mayynard stuffs the takedown attempt from Marley. Marley gets slowly back to his feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Mayynard closes this distance looking for a takedown but Marley circles away.

Mayynard drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Mayynard stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Marley dodges the punch combination from Mayynard.

Mayynard decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Marley is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Mayynard's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Mayynard's back!
Mayynard turns into Marley and is now in his guard.

Marley had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Mayynard is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Marley Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Mayynard's back instead.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Damian Marley will probably get the nod.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Mayynard closes the distance and lands a one-two.
Mayynard shoots in for a double leg but Marley sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Marley is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Mayynard looks calm but he's in trouble here. Marley gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Mayynard is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Marley lets go of the hold and Mayynard can pop his arm back in it's socket.
