Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Tom Obama (ranked 5070 p4p, 20880 weight class) and Johnny Waldron (ranked 196 p4p, 226 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tom Obama!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 14 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Waldron!
The judges for this bout are Sosuke Kotani, Taro Takaoka and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Waldron slips under a jab.
Waldron throws out a loose jab but Obama uses good head movement to avoid it.
Obama scores with a decent looking hook.
It looks like Johnny Waldron has been cut.
Obama cracks Waldron with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Obama throws a lazy uppercut
and Waldron counters with a straight right hand.
Obama looks to throw the jab but Waldron is out of range.
Waldron takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Waldron misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Obama.

Waldron's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Waldron gets through Obama's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Obama tries to circle away but Waldron has him pinned against the ropes.
Obama breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Waldron blocks a low kick nicely.
Obama takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Waldron swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Obama lands a nice shot to the body.
Obama bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

That has opened up Johnny Waldron's cut even more.
Obama fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Waldron has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Obama throws a body shot but no joy.
Obama goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Obama lands a nice looking body kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Obama.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Waldron wants to clinch.
Waldron thuds a mid kick into his opponent's body. That will wear on Obama if he has to take too many more of those.
Obama throws a lazy right hand but Waldron sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

and Obama counters with a nice uppercut.
Obama cracks Waldron with a right hand to the side of the head.

And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Waldron unleashes a big counter combination but Obama bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

A decent looking cross lands there for Obama.
Tom Obama seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Waldron counters with a straight right that drops Obama on his ass! Obama jumps back to his feet. He seems OK to continue so we'll get back to the action.
Waldron tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Obama fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Waldron checks it well.
Waldron tries to clinch up against the ropes, rushing in to close the distance. Obama manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Obama is looking to chop away at Waldron's legs.
It seemed like Waldron was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Obama lands a right hook to the body.
Waldron displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Obama throws out the jab.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Waldron! But no joy.
Obama throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Waldron looks like he wants to counter punch here.

Obama throws a counter high kick but Waldron was just alert enough to avoid it.

Waldron is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.

Obama lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Obama dodges the punch combination from Waldron.

Waldron is pinned up against the ropes taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Johnny Waldron's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
