Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gaius Marius (ranked 1450 p4p, 1589 weight class) and Jerricho Patterson (ranked 213 p4p, 236 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marius fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Patterson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Patterson looks to throw the jab but Marius is out of range.
