PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Roman Isaiah (ranked 6017 p4p, 5942 weight class) and Kealin Bishop (ranked 580 p4p, 576 weight class). Bishop has chosen HonestKey- When I Wake Up as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Roman Isaiah!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kealin Bishop!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Roosa Järviläinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop scores with a jab to the jaw.
Bishop works the jab nicely.
Bishop fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Isaiah on the side of the head.
Isaiah shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Bishop but Bishop pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Bishop is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Isaiah.
Isaiah wants to clinch up but Bishop keeps it at a distance.
That kick from Bishop tenderised Isaiah's leg. Isaiah is trying to keep his angry face on.
Bishop sizes up Isaiah with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Nice uppercut lands for Bishop. That snapped Isaiah's head back.

Bishop misses with a jab, cross combination.
Oh Isaiah is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Isaiah misses with a wild combination.
Isaiah seems to have got his legs back now.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Bishop throws the left hand but Isaiah avoids the punch easily.

Bishop tests Isaiah's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Bishop misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Isaiah is looking to counter the offense by Bishop and move into the clinch.
Isaiah takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Isaiah on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Bishop. Bishop obviously looking to wear him down.
Isaiah tries to close the distance and clinch up but Bishop swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bishop thinks about the counter body kick.
Bishop stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bishop wants it to stay on the feet.
Bishop connects with a high kick.

Isaiah walks into a jab.

and Isaiah counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Bishop!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bishop is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Isaiah is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
Isaiah avoids the attempt from Bishop to control.

Isaiah is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
Bishop misses with a looping left.
Bishop digs a good body shot into Isaiah's ribs.
Isaiah uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bishop.
Bishop lands a slapping body shot.
Isaiah on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
A left lands for Bishop.
Bishop is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Isaiah had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Isaiah misses with a takedown
and Bishop counters with a two punch combo.

Isaiah shoots in but Bishop avoids the takedown attempt easily.

Bishop cracks Isaiah with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Isaiah looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Bishop finish him?
Bishop scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Bishop cracks Isaiah with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Isaiah falls to his knees and Bishop doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

A less than humble Kealin Bishop misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
