Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Magomed Omarov (ranked 5886 p4p, 24691 weight class) and Charlie Shark (ranked 571 p4p, 598 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Matti Vanhoillinen.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Shark drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Omarov wriggles free and stands up.

Omarov rushes Shark and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Omarov has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Shark avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Shark changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Omarov fights it off and pushes away nicely.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Omarov stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Omarov pulls Shark into guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Omarov is looking for a triangle but Shark pushes his legs off easily.

Omarov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Shark gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Omarov has Shark pulled in close to control his posture.
Shark wants to stand but Omarov has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

Omarov had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Shark defends it easily.

Shark wanted to stand there but Omarov had control of the position.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Shark shoots in but no luck this time.

Shark gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Omarov to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Shark wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Omarov manages to pass to side control.

Shark is trying to stand up here but Omarov is controlling him well.

Omarov is taking a breather. Shark says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

Omarov looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Shark really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Omarov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Omarov slips a jab and a cross from Shark.
Omarov has been working on his balance at 3Band MMA, so perhaps that has help him stuff some of the takedown attempts by Shark.
Horrible takedown attempt by Shark or perhaps it was just good defense by Omarov, which made it look bad.

Shark gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Omarov jumps guard but Shark turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Omarov tries to pull guard but Shark forces him back to his feet, against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Omarov wants to control but Shark is keeping him busy.

Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Omarov. Shark shrugs it off though.

Omarov closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Omarov lands in his opponent's guard.
Omarov is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Omarov postures up in Shark's guard and throws a big left but Shark blocks it.

Omarov lands a decent elbow from side control.
Omarov passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Shark!

Omarov controlling the pace for now.

A close second round but Charlie Shark will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Omarov lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Shark has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Shark and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Omarov shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Shark manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Shark can do anything to dispel that myth.

Omarov closes the distance and clinches up with Shark, looking for a takedown. Omarov pushes Shark against the cage but Shark circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Omarov misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Shark.

Shark breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Omarov lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Well Omarov has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
