Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Korin Gherris (ranked 4272 p4p, 4269 weight class) and Marcus Williams (ranked 448 p4p, 449 weight class). Gherris comes to the cage accompanied by unholy confessions -avenged sevenfold. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Korin Gherris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Williams ! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Konstantin Menshow and Sergei Dronov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Williams . Those never looked like landing. Gherris shoots in but no luck this time. Gherris shoots in but no luck this time. Williams feints and as Gherris raises his hands in defense, Williams changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Williams with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Williams is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gherris tries to land a sweep but no joy. Williams decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gherris fails with the takedown and Williams counters with a nice double leg into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Korin Gherris. That's going to take a lot out of him. Williams controlling the action here. Williams looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gherris with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Still in half guard, Williams seems content to control. Williams frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Gherris keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Williams is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Williams bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Gherris reaches up around Williams 's neck trying to control. But Williams takes advantage instantly and he's locked on an arm triangle! Big trouble for Gherris! Oh that looks nasty! A human being's head is not meant to turn that color! Gherris is out! He's gone limp! The ref steps in to break the fighters up and Williams celebrates the victory with the fans!
