Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Haye! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, joseph killer! The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Kenichi Hosakawa and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! killer uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Haye. Haye tries to close the distance and clinch but killer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. killer avoids a punch combination nicely.
The fighters circling - Haye throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Haye sizes up killer with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
It looks like joseph killer has been cut. David Haye seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Haye moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! killer goes down! Can Haye finish him!?
killer is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Haye stands and steps away. killer gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. killer is still on wobbly legs! Can Haye finish him? killer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Haye waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract killer. killer displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Haye throws out the jab. killer seems to have recovered his senses. killer fails with the takedown. Haye cracks killer with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends killer tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Haye pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! killer is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). David Haye!
