PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jah Kid (ranked 3067 p4p, 2733 weight class) and Max Planck (ranked 324 p4p, 300 weight class). Kid comes into the arena with Walk - Pantera blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kid jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Planck misses with a series of wild punches.
It looked like Kid was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Planck.

Planck gets the takedown into side control.
Kid is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Planck's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Planck stalling.
Kid is trying to maintain the position but Planck is very close to passing his half guard.
Kid is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Kalashnikov ELITE MMA Gym , so we'll see if he gets out of it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Planck really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kid. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kid goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Planck has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kid but great work by Planck.

Kid tries to throw a body punch but Planck avoids it by throwing Kid back against the cage.

Planck shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Planck showed some decent athleticism there.

Planck is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kid doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Planck.
