Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ernie Stone (ranked 4331 p4p, 2860 weight class) and Fabio Oliveira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Fabio Oliveira!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oliveira tries to close the distance and clinch up but Stone swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Stone ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Oliveira tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Stone was well out of range. Poor timing from Oliveira.
Oliveira throws a leg kick that misses.
Oliveira scores with a takedown into Stone's guard.
Oliveira passes Stone's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Oliveira wants to control but Stone is keeping him busy.
Stone keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Stone is refusing to be controlled, as Oliveira sits in half guard.

Oliveira is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stone is just riding it out for now. Oliveira eventually gives up the hold.
Stone is controlling Oliveira's position as best he can from this difficult position.
Stone is looking for a sweep. Oliveira is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Oliveira gets to his feet - back to striking we go!
Oliveira shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Stone's guard.
Oliveira is stalling in the full guard.

Oliveira drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Oliveira jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Oliveira stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Oliveira shoots in but Stone avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Oliveira shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Stone swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Oliveira shoots in for a takedown but Stone shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ernie Stone has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fabio Oliveira.
Oliveira misses the shot to the body.
Stone moves out of range of the body kick from Oliveira.
Stone attempts a counter takedown but Oliveira avoids it well and moves away.
A left and a right from Stone both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Fabio Oliveira has been cut.

Stone lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Stone lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Oliveira showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Stone.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Oliveira shoots for a takedown but Stone saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Stone throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Oliveira stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Oliveira looks winded!
Sloppy strikes from Stone. Those never looked like landing.
Stone throws a nice looking combination but Oliveira bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Stone scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The cut man is working on Fabio Oliveira's cut.

Stone lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Oliveira looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Oliveira tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Stone swivels and escapes.
Fabio Oliveira seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Oliveira motions for Stone to come forward. Oliveira throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Stone scores with a jab. Oliveira acknowledges it with a nod of the head.

Stone stalks Oliveira and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Oliveira's face. Oliveira staggers backwards, shaken.
Stone lands a jab-cross combination.
Oliveira has a takedown stuffed.
Left hook, right uppercut from Stone.
Stone really is a fat lump.
Stone lands a nice looking body shot.
Oliveira goes for a double leg but Stone avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stone continues to drive forward.
Oooooh!!! Stone has knocked Oliveira down with a huge combo! Stone steps away and waves a wobbly Oliveira back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stone grits his teeth and throws a big right-left combo! Oliveira takes both shots clean on the chin and is out cold! Stone cracks him once more on his way down, as the crowd goes wild! They enjoyed that one!
