Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Texas Pete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ahmed Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ahmed Johnson will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Texas Pete! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ahmed Johnson! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Johnson decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Pete looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Johnson with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Johnson decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Johnson shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Pete is in trouble now - Johnson has advanced to mount! Johnson content just to control the position here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Johnson tries to control but Pete wriggling away. Johnson in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Pete is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Johnson cracks Pete with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Johnson is landing with some decent strikes but Pete is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Johnson trying to control but he's not successful this time. Pete might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Johnson sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Johnson has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pete is squirming around, avoiding Johnson's attempts to control the action. Johnson looking to isolate an arm here. Pete doesn't see it coming and as Johnson extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Johnson!
