Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Minatay Mibangon (ranked 24691 p4p, 24711 weight class) and Walay Buut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 21 - 3, fighting out of Las Vegas, Minatay Mibangon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 15 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Walay Buut! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Alan Glass and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Buut gets a double leg takedown into Mibangon's guard. Mibangon is pulling down on Buut's head. It's preventing any offense from Buut, at least for the moment. Buut trying to control but Mibangon is working from the bottom. Mibangon is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Mibangon holds on and takes a little breather.
That's one minute gone in the round. Buut controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Let's hope that Buut has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Mibangon closes the distance and pushes Buut back into the cage. Buut has Mibangon pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Mibangon manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Mibangon wants the takedown. Buut is fighting it off but Mibangon persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Buut's guard against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Buut is looking for a triangle but Mibangon pushes his legs off easily.
Mibangon not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Buut keeping moving, preventing Mibangon from controlling successfully. Buut is pulling down on Mibangon's head to control his posture. Buut being controlled here, momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mibangon throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Buut has his hands on Mibangon's head, controlling the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Buut throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Mibangon's waist but Mibangon gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Buut off to one side. Buut will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Minatay Mibangon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walay Buut.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Mibangon tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Buut defends well and Mibangon ends up having to push Buut into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Buut replies with a solid counter kick to the body but Mibangon blocks it well. Mibangon jumps guard and drags Buut to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Buut sitting in guard here, content to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Minatay Mibangon dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Buut shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Mibangon's guard. Buut is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mibangon trying to keep a closed guard but Buut is proving a slippery customer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mibangon being controlled here, momentarily. Mibangon controls Buut momentarily but Buut frees himself. Buut trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Buut is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Horrible takedown attempt by Buut or perhaps it was just good defense by Mibangon, which made it look bad. Buut stuffs the takedown. A nice side step and Buut releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Mibangon shoots for a double leg takedown but Buut sprawls well. He's pushed Mibangon's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Buut is trying to counter with his kicks. Mibangon throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Buut was covering up waiting for the punch and Mibangon finishes the takedown easily into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Buut is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Buut is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Buut trying to control the position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mibangon scoring with punches to the head and body. Buut looking for a sweep. Not yet Buut, not yet. Buut is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mibangon controlling from the top position.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Minatay Mibangon will probably get the nod. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round! No luck for Mibangon with that takedown attempt. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Buut. Mibangon jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Buut fails with a takedown attempt.

Buut shoots in for a takedown but Mibangon shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Minatay Mibangon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Walay Buut.

Mibangon is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Buut controlling from the top position. We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Buut.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Mibangon looking to control but Buut passes into half guard.
Walay Buut has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Minatay Mibangon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Mibangon is pressing down on Buut's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Mibangon utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

And that's the end of the fight! Walay Buut comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Mibangon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
