Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bubba Banger!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Banger has managed to clinch.
Read tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Banger smiles and moves away.

Banger has Read up against the cage in a clinch.
Read is trying to pull guard but Banger has him pressed against the cage.
Nice body punch from Banger - that landed with a thud.

Read manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Banger has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Read is proving hard to escape from.
Read has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Banger wants to stand and escape but instead Read has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Read thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Read pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Banger is keeping the position for now.
Read wants to control from the top but Banger keeps moving.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Read drops back looking for a leg! Banger is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Banger manages to kick Read off! Read jumps back into Banger's guard.

Read is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Read stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Banger swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Banger is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Read works a leg free and moves into half guard.

Read has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Banger defend it? Read steps over the head and cranks it - Banger is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Read!
