Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Niko Banks (ranked 4501 p4p, 5154 weight class) and Jules Ann (ranked 431 p4p, 489 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jules Ann!
The judges for this bout are Jack Bonds, Frank Antenori and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Banks closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ann counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Banks drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Banks closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ann counters with a stiff right hand.
Ann throws a leg kick which misses Banks's front leg but catches the back leg as Banks tries to avoid it.
Ann lands with an uppercut that bounces Banks off the cage and back into range.
Ann circles away from the clinch attempt.
Ann with a jab.
Ann connects with a body shot.
Banks closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ann counters with a left to the body.
Ann scores with a head kick. Banks tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Banks moves to clinch but Ann breaks away
letting Ann counter with a right hand.
Banks closes the distance looking to clinch
and Ann counters with a huge left! Banks is in big trouble! He's backing up but Ann isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Banks from any more damage. A dominating finish by Ann!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jules Ann!
Jules Ann bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
