Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sahil Warner (ranked 6125 p4p, 25083 weight class) and Donatello Purple (ranked 586 p4p, 614 weight class). Donatello Purple will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Donatello Purple!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Warner takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.

Warner jumps guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Purple stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Warner swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Warner bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Purple's guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Purple can do anything to dispel that myth.

Purple is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Purple manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Warner manages to get himself to full guard.

Purple really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Warner. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Warner is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Purple is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Warner in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Purple tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Warner!
