Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ranganathan Iyer (ranked 3879 p4p, 4823 weight class) and Sacrificial Lamb Jr (ranked 498 p4p, 544 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ranganathan Iyer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Sacrificial Lamb Jr! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Iyer shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lamb Jr pinned against the cage. Lamb Jr gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Lamb Jr lands with a shot to the body. Iyer misses with a takedown attempt - Lamb Jr sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Iyer shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Lamb Jr sprawls well. Lamb Jr wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Iyer gets slowly back to his feet. Iyer backing away here, and Lamb Jr unleashes a leg kick that just misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ranganathan Iyer. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Iyer shoots in for a double leg but Lamb Jr sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Iyer tries a low kick but Lamb Jr avoids it. Sacrificial Lamb Jr is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Iyer shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lamb Jr defends it nicely. Iyer shoots and misses and Lamb Jr counters with a lovely shot to the body. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Iyer. Iyer is breathing heavily. Iyer walks into a stiff left hand from Lamb Jr.
It looks like Ranganathan Iyer has been cut. Iyer has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Lamb Jr.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Iyer shoots and misses letting Lamb Jr counter with a right hand. Iyer shoots in looking for a takedown but Lamb Jr manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Iyer's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Lamb Jr walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Iyer drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Lamb Jr swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Iyer's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sacrificial Lamb Jr! Sacrificial Lamb Jr spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
