Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kangaroo Jack (ranked 3885 p4p, 3489 weight class) and Alexander Shark (ranked 325 p4p, 291 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kangaroo Jack!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Alexander Shark!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Anni Minnemäki and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shark showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Jack.
Shark with a lazy takedown attempt
and Jack counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Shark shoots and misses
and Jack counters with a nice uppercut.
Shark misses with a leg kick
and Jack counters with a two punch combo.
Jack defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Shark.
Kangaroo Jack has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexander Shark.
Jack scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Jack scores with a nice strike.
Jack looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Shark has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Jack finds it's way round the side to connect with Shark's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A decent looking cross lands there for Jack.
Shark with a poor takedown
and Jack connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kangaroo Jack is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
A low kick from Shark is predictable there
and Jack counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

Shark darts in and clinches Jack up against the cage.

Jack's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Shark on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Shark tries for a takedown but Jack sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jack throws a head kick that half lands.
Jack misses with a jab, cross combination.

Shark closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Shark is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Jack to keep the fight standing.

Shark breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Shark is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jack sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Shark wants to clinch.

Shark closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Shark working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Jack on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jack tries to get out of the position.
Jack is trying to control Shark's posture but Shark avoids it.
Jack is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Shark is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
A bit of a lull in the action here.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Jack is trying to stand and escape here. He's got onto all fours but that's just let Shark take his back! Uh oh - Shark has got a rear naked choke here! Jack is forced to tap! It's all over! One monent is all it takes in this sport!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:06 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Alexander Shark!
In his post fight interview, Alexander Shark started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
