Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Giant Benandonner (ranked 2045 p4p, 2560 weight class) and Kristoffer Rud (ranked 216 p4p, 277 weight class). Rud is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Run Boy Run. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kristoffer Rud!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Benandonner stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Benandonner wants it to stay on the feet.
Rud shoots in but no luck this time.
Benandonner was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Rud tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Benandonner defends well and Rud ends up having to push Benandonner into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Giant Benandonner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kristoffer Rud.
Rud shoots in and drives through. Benandonner sprawls well.
Benandonner cracks a nice hook into Rud's ribs.

Benandonner scores with a hook to the body. Rud takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Benandonner postures up and lands a big shot to Rud's brow.

Benandonner trying to control the position from guard on top but Rud is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Rud has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Gold Samurai's Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
Rud working for a triangle but Benandonner defends it easily.
Benandonner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Rud on the ground.

Benandonner definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Giant Benandonner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Benandonner defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Rud.
Rud tries to score a power double leg takedown but Benandonner sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Rud somewhat.
Rud shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Benandonner as he jumps to the side.

and Benandonner counters with a right hand to the body.
Kristoffer Rud seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rud misses with a takedown attempt
and Benandonner counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Benandonner bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Benandonner ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Benandonner drops Rud with a big left hand! Rud is injured, injured bad! Benandonner jumps in and finished him with strikes! The fight is over!
